Nuts
The right nut for every connection
Fastenrath offers a wide range of weld nuts, flange nuts, lock nuts, hex nuts, square nuts, and cap nuts made of steel, stainless steel, or non-ferrous metals—available in virtually all thread types and sizes, as well as various surface coatings. We are also happy to manufacture custom nuts for you, such as combination nuts, press-fit nuts, rivet nuts, flanged nuts, round nuts, and rectangular nuts.
We produce approximately 1.1 billion nuts per year—that’s about 5 million nuts per day—which are installed in, among other things, the bodies, chassis, and engines of numerous passenger cars, trucks, two-wheelers, and agricultural and forestry machinery. Our nuts can also be found in everyday household items, such as washing machines and dishwashers, as well as other household and gardening appliances.
In order to ensure your complete satisfaction, we supply our weld nuts in a wide range of variants, always delivering consistently high quality.
Although weld nuts generally operate according to the same principle, there are significant differences in terms of ease of processing and strength.
Our products offer numerous advantages. They ensure reliable feedability and weldability in production processes and, if required, feature a centring spigot for self-positioning and protection from weld spatter.

Use our press-in nuts to create reliable connections without the need for additional welding processes. The nuts are extremely easy to install, with no risk of structural changes in the material caused by heat exposure during welding, for example. They also withstand high levels of torque and pull-out forces and are available for a range of sheet thicknesses, as well as offering a high level of safety even in very compact designs.
Thanks to these properties, our products are used wherever durable and reliable connections in sheet metal are required, for example in the manufacture of vehicle components and other sheet metal parts. Closed press-in nuts also prevent the ingress of dirt and water.
In the press-in nut segment, we manufacture the following:
- Hex press-in nuts FN 1.225

Avoid unpleasant surprises when it comes to safety. Standard nuts can loosen or even come off completely due to external influences such as continuous vibration. Lock nuts have been developed to counter this.
They are a reliable locking solution against unintentional loosening and loss – without the need for additional components or any modification to the bolt itself. Applications for our lock nuts include exhaust systems, chassis components and engine parts.
