Nuts

Do you need reliable, high quality steel and aluminium nuts? We have the perfect selection for you. Since the founding of our company over a century ago, our product range has both expanded and specialised at the same time. Though we started out manufacturing only square nuts in Plettenberg, today we offer you a broad spectrum of weld nuts, flange nuts, locking nuts, hexagon nuts, square nuts and acorn nuts, made of steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metal – with different surface finishes and coatings, as well as almost every conceivable thread size and material thickness. We will also be glad to produce customised, non-standard nuts for you, such as combination nuts, insert nuts, rivet nuts, crimp nuts, round nuts and rectangular nuts. We take on every new challenge and work together with you to find a cost-effective solution for each application.

We produce some 1.1 billion nuts per year – that works out to about 5 million nuts per day. It’s entirely possible that you’ve already come in contact with one of our products today. Because they’re found in numerous passenger cars, lorries, and two-wheelers, as well as agricultural and forestry machinery, where they’re used to hold coachworks, suspensions and engines together. They also fasten everyday consumer items safely and securely – for example in washing machines, dishwashers, and other household and garden appliances.

Weld Nuts

To ensure your all-around satisfaction, we offer you a wide range of weld nuts with impressive quality. Though all weld nuts generally work according to the same principle, they differ considerably regarding their machinability and strength.

Our products feature numerous benefits. They ensure highly reliable welding processes and can, on request, be supplied with a centring insert.

Flange nuts

Use our flange nuts to cover elongated holes in the construction of vehicles, machinery and equipment. They meet numerous standards and satisfy the most demanding requirements. They are particularly well-suited for minimising the flattening of soft, thin bearing surfaces, for example, or to cover large holes, as well as in applications where they substitute for a nut with an additional washer.

Insert nuts

Use our insert nuts to establish reliable connections without additional welding processes. These nuts are installed in the simplest way imaginable, without the least possible risk of changing the microstructure of the material, e.g. due to the effects of heat during welding. Moreover, they withstand high twisting and pull-out forces, are available for a range of different plate thicknesses and provide outstaning reliability with an extremely compact design.

With these characteristics, our products are used wherever durable and reliable connections are needed in sheet metal, for example in the production of parts for vehicles and other sheet metal parts. Enclosed insert nuts also prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating.

Locking nuts

Avoid unpleasant surprises when it comes to matters of safety. Normal nuts can loosen or fall off completely as a result of external influences, such as continuous vibrations. Locking nuts were developed to counteract this.

They serve to secure screws reliably against unintentional loosening and loss, and without the need for additional components or having to make alterations to the screw itself. Our locking nuts are used in a wide variety of applications, including exhaust systems, suspension components and engine parts.

Square nuts

Rely on the tradition and the proven quality of our square nuts. They are the product that our company has been successfully manufacturing and marketing since its establishment over a century ago. Square nuts play an important role in joining technology in particular. They are used in an extremely wide range of industries – in profiles, in guide rails and in rail systems.

In lorries and passenger cars, they are used to fasten front and door modules, and also decorative boot strips. Square nuts are also used to fasten mounting rails in machinery construction, electrical and electronic technology, in the solar industry, and in vehicle and sanitary technology, as well as in trade fair stand construction.
